Two Wushu players trained by Vishwamitra Awardee and Indian Wushu Team coach Sarika Gupta won two silver medals representing the Indian Wushu Team in the Acropolis International Competition, Greece.
Priyanka Kewat won Silver Medal in 48 KG category and Durgeshvar Singh won the Silver Medal in 85 KG category.
According to the information given by Sarika Gupta, Priyanka Kewat was also a part of the Indian Wushu Team for the Moscow Wushu Star Competition last year and Durgeshvar Singh is currently working in BSF.
Both the players have been training under Indian Wushu Team coach Sarika Gupta. Players from around 30 countries participated in the international competition. IPS NK Tripathi, Sarika Gupta, Rajneesh Saxena, BJP Cell President Ashutosh Mishra, Maya Rajak, Nitesh Barman, Vikas Chaturvedi, Anasharan etc. have congratulated the players on this achievement.
