The Sheep Husbandry Department (SHD) has placed under suspension three of its employees including a Stock Assistant and two Assistant Stockmen for their alleged involvement in the NDPS case.
An inquiry has also been initiated against the trio.
The suspended trio have been identified as Dinesh Kumar Sharma, Stock Assistant Kathua, Dinesh Singh Assistant Stockman of Kathua and Balvinder Singh, Assistant stockman of Kathua.
All the three are allegedly involved in the NDPS case.
“In terms of Rule 33 of MK Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1956, sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Dr. Sanjeev Kumar, I/C Joint Director (Farms), Sheep Husbandry Department, Jammu as Inquiry Officer in the matter,” reads an official order.
The Inquiry Officer has been directed to conduct an inquiry into the matter and submit his report within a period of 10 days to the Directorate.
Dr. Sahil Pangotra, I/C Deputy Director, Government Sheep Breeding & Research Farm, Billawar has been nominated as Presenting Officer in the case for presenting case before the Inquiry Officer.
