Imphal, Feb 19: The Khuga Battalion of the Assam Rifles has marked a significant achievement in its ongoing efforts toward youth empowerment and nation-building. On 17 February 2026, it was announced that 31 candidates from Churachandpur and adjoining areas of Manipur successfully cleared the written examination for enrolment into the Territorial Army.

The accomplishment reflects the sustained guidance, mentoring, and structured training support provided by the Khuga Battalion to local aspirants preparing for recruitment into the Armed Forces.
