
The J&K Board of School Education (BOSE) on Wednesday declared the result of the class 10th regular annual examination with an overall pass percentage of 85.03.
As per the official figures produced by JKBOSE a total of 94845 students had enrolled for the class 10th annual examination out of which 80650 students have qualified the exam with a pass percentage of 85.03 percent.
An official at JKBOSE said that this was the best performance of students in last few years.
The result was also available at the official website of the JKBOSE.
Over 94,000 students had appeared in the annual regular exams of 10th standard that commenced on November 3 in Kashmir.
Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (BOSE) had set-up 994 examination centres across the Kashmir region.
BOSE had said that 68,804 students enrolled for the annual regular exams of 10th are from ten districts of Kashmir division and 25,224 students are from eight districts of winter zone areas of Jammu division.
Besides, the board had also informed that at least 660 from Kargil and 95 from Leh district were also enrolled for the examinations.
The BOSE had announced syllabus relaxation of 15 percent for 10th, 11th and 12th standard examination.
