A lady pilgrim from Philippines participating in the ongoing Amarnath Yatra has expressed deep satisfaction and admiration for arrangements made by authorities, calling the pilgrimage “an unforgettable spiritual journey” and praising administration for their hospitality and efficiency.
Talking to reporters near Baltal Base camp in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, the pilgrim, who is part of a group of international spiritual seekers visiting holy sites across India, shared her heartfelt gratitude for the warm welcome and the facilities provided.
“I had heard about the Amarnath Yatra for many years, but experiencing it in person is something truly divine,” she said.
She highlighted the seamless coordination between various departments, especially the security forces, medical teams, and volunteers.
“From the moment we arrived, we felt safe and taken care of. The security personnel are very polite and professional. Medical help is readily available and volunteers are kind and very helpful,” she noted.
The pilgrim, who has traveled extensively to spiritual destinations around the world, said Amarnath Yatra stood out not only for its religious significance but also for the human spirit that it inspires.
“There is a sense of unity here—people from all walks of life, different countries, all coming together for faith. It’s a beautiful experience,” she said.
She was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the route, arrangements for food and water, and the availability of emergency services along the trek.
“Even in the challenging terrain, the facilities are commendable. It shows how committed the Indian government is to ensuring a safe and fulfilling pilgrimage for all,” she said.
The lady pilgrim said she would encourage more people from her country to undertake this spiritual journey in the coming years. “I feel blessed to have been part of this Yatra. I will take home not just spiritual peace, but also memories of the incredible hospitality and spiritual energy of this land.”
Her appreciation is being seen as a testament to the global reach and appeal of Amarnath Yatra, and the growing confidence among foreign nationals in India's ability to host international pilgrims with care and devotion.
