Kolkata, Dec 24 : The Assam Rifles, under the Spear Corps, successfully concluded an enriching 11-day National Integration Tour for students from Manipur, organized as part of Operation Sadbhavana. The initiative aimed at fostering leadership, cultural awareness, and a sense of national pride among the youth.

During the tour, students visited key landmarks in Kolkata, exploring the city’s rich heritage, history, and cultural diversity. A highlight of the journey was an interaction with the Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal at Lok Bhawan, where students engaged in discussions on civic responsibilities, nation-building, and leadership.
Officials from Assam Rifles emphasized that such initiatives not only expose young minds to India’s pluralistic culture but also strengthen the bond between the armed forces and the youth. The tour included educational sessions, cultural activities, and visits to historical sites, leaving a lasting impact on the participants.
The students expressed their gratitude to the Assam Rifles for organizing the tour, noting that it broadened their horizons and deepened their understanding of India’s unity in diversity.
