Senapati, Feb 2: Assam Rifles personnel demonstrated prompt humanitarian action by extending timely assistance following a road accident on National Highway-2 near Karong Ground in Senapati district.

A vehicle had skidded off the road and fallen into a roadside ditch, leaving the occupants injured and in urgent need of help. Troops from Assam Rifles swiftly reached the site and carried out nearly three hours of sustained rescue efforts. They successfully attended to the injured and ensured their safe recovery. The damaged vehicle was also retrieved and transported safely to Senapati.
