
Molcham, Manipur, Dec 2025: Assam Rifles has successfully conducted a 10-day tailoring workshop at Molcham village in Chandel District, Manipur, as part of its ongoing efforts under Operation Sadbhavna to promote inclusive development and women’s empowerment in border areas.
The workshop, organized for women from remote villages of the Khengjoi Sub-Division, aimed to provide practical tailoring skills to enhance livelihood opportunities and support sustainable income generation. Participants received hands-on training in stitching, embroidery, and garment making, guided by experienced instructors from Assam Rifles.
