Manipur, Nov 16: Assam Rifles, under Spear Corps, flagged off its maiden Territorial Army Recruitment Rally from Noney, bringing career awareness and opportunities to remote areas of Manipur. The initiative is designed to encourage local youth to consider careers in the Territorial Army and contribute to national service.

The rally provides participants with information on eligibility, training, and career prospects within the Territorial Army, while also highlighting the values of discipline, leadership, and service to the nation. Through such outreach programs, Assam Rifles aims to empower young people in far-flung regions, promote skill development, and strengthen their participation in national defense initiatives.
Officials noted that the recruitment drive will also help bridge gaps in awareness about military careers among remote communities, fostering a sense of patriotism and civic responsibility among the youth.
