Borduria, , Jan 28: On the occasion of the 78th Republic Day, Assam Rifles paid tribute to Havildar Hangpan Dada, Ashok Chakra (Posthumous), with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Hangpan Dada Memorial in Borduria, Tirap District.
The solemn event was attended by civil administration officials, including MLA Borduria–Bogapani, Arunachal Pradesh Police, ZPC representatives, school children, and villagers from the braveheart’s native village.
Officials said the ceremony honoured the courage and sacrifice of Havildar Hangpan Dada, reinforcing the values of bravery and patriotism among the local community and participants.
