Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Upendra Dwivedi, PVSM, AVSM, accompanied by Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, SYSM, PVSM, AVSM, SM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Northern Command, visited White Knight Corps to review the prevailing security situation and assess the operational preparedness of the formations deployed in the region.
During the visit, the COAS was briefed in detail on the counter-terrorism grid, prevailing security challenges, and ongoing operations. He lauded the high degree of synergy and coordination among the Army and other security forces, terming it a key factor in maintaining stability and thwarting hostile designs.
General Dwivedi commended the efforts of all stakeholders involved in safeguarding peace and security, and emphasized the need for sustained vigilance and a people-centric approach while conducting operations. He underscored the importance of winning the trust of local populations alongside ensuring robust security measures.
The Army Chief also expressed full confidence in the leadership, professionalism, and dedication of the officers and troops of White Knight Corps, reaffirming that their commitment and operational readiness remain pivotal in ensuring lasting peace and security in the region.
