Parva,, Dec 19: Lieutenant General R C Tiwari, Army Commander Eastern Command (#ArmyCdrEC), along with senior military officers, visited the Company Operating Base of Assam Rifles and BSF under Spear Corps at Parva to assess the security situation along the Indo-Bangladesh border.

During the visit, Lt Gen Tiwari commended the Assam Rifles and BSF personnel for their steadfastness, resilience, and high level of operational preparedness. He reviewed ongoing operations, welfare measures, and coordination mechanisms between the two forces, emphasizing the importance of vigilance and readiness in maintaining border security.
The visit underscored the commitment of the armed forces to safeguard national borders while recognizing the dedication and professionalism of troops operating in challenging terrain. Interaction with officers and troops also provided an opportunity to boost morale and reinforce operational efficiency along the sensitive frontier.
