Army conduct medical and dental camp in Tangdhar

As part of its ongoing outreach and welfare initiatives, the Indian Army successfully organized a medical and dental camp for school children in the Tangdhar.
The initiative aimed to promote health awareness, provide preventive healthcare services, and address medical concerns among young students.
The camp included interactive educational sessions where children were taught the importance of personal hygiene, oral care, proper hand washing techniques, and the correct method of brushing teeth. These sessions were designed to instill lifelong healthy habits in a simple and engaging manner.
Following the educational lectures, a thorough dental inspection was conducted for 90 students, along with an ad-hoc Outpatient Department (OPD) consultation that attended to 125 children with various ailments.
In addition to student engagement, school teachers were also oriented on basic health education techniques to enable them to further disseminate knowledge on illness prevention among their students. The total strength of the camp stood at approximately 150, reflecting enthusiastic participation and community support.
