
Manipur, Nov 19: Dao Division under Spear Corps conducted Exercise Samanjasya – Military Civil Fusion in coordination with the civil administration of Lohitpur, Namsai and Roing in Arunachal Pradesh.
The exercise focused on strengthening cooperation between the Armed Forces and local civil authorities, ensuring better preparedness, joint response, and efficient resource utilisation during emergencies and security operations.
In a landmark initiative showcasing inter-service synergy and national capacity-building, the exercise brought together officials from multiple departments, including disaster management, health, police, and local governance. Participants shared best practices, reviewed contingency protocols, and worked on coordinated action plans for real-time scenarios.
Army officials said such joint efforts help build trust, enhance operational efficiency, and improve the region’s overall readiness to tackle both security challenges and natural disasters.
