Army hosts golden Pagoda visit

Rupai , July 17: In a heartwarming initiative to promote inclusion and community engagement, the Indian Army's Red Shield Gunners, under the Spear Corps, organised an educational visit to the Golden Pagoda for specially abled children from Navarupantar Children Home, Rupai.

The visit provided the children with an opportunity to explore one of the region's prominent cultural and spiritual landmarks while enjoying its peaceful surroundings. During the programme, the children were introduced to the history, cultural heritage and religious significance of the Golden Pagoda, making the outing both educational and enriching.
The initiative aimed to encourage confidence, social interaction and a sense of belonging among the children by providing them with a meaningful experience outside their regular environment.
