ARWWA honors outstanding members, unveils SIROI-2026

New Delhi, Mar 23: Rai Auditorium, Headquarters Directorate General, Assam Rifles, witnessed a ceremonial event on 23 March 2026, as Mrs. Vibha Lakhera, President of the Assam Rifles Wives Welfare Association (ARWWA), presented the prestigious ARWWA Award of Appreciation to distinguished members of the fraternity. The awards recognized outstanding contributions towards the welfare, support, and empowerment of Assam Rifles families, highlighting the pivotal role played by ARWWA members in strengthening community bonds and promoting well-being among the Force’s personnel and their dependents.

During the ceremony, Mrs. Lakhera also unveiled ‘SIROI-2026’, ARWWA’s annual journal, which documents the association’s initiatives, accomplishments, and community engagement activities over the past year. The journal showcases programs ranging from educational support, health and wellness initiatives, skill development workshops, and cultural activities, reflecting ARWWA’s sustained commitment to the upliftment of families associated with Assam Rifles.
