A centralized collection point was set up near the orchards, allowing growers to deliver their harvest efficiently. Each lot undergoes a strict quality check to meet prescribed standards, and payments are instantly transferred through digital modes, minimizing delays and enhancing transparency.
This initiative reduces the burden of transportation and middlemen costs for farmers, providing a reliable sales outlet close to their orchards. Authorities highlighted that the program strengthens local empowerment, creates mutual benefits, and reinforces Assam Rifles’ commitment to people-centric operations.
