Imphal, Feb 12: AssamRifles extended its community support under Operation Sadbhavana by donating five computers to Hope Baptist Academy, Bible Hill, Rengkai in Churachandpur, Manipur. This initiative aims to strengthen digital learning facilities and help bridge the technological gap faced by students in this remote region.

The hand over event was warmly welcomed by around 300 students and 20 staff members, who expressed appreciation for the timely support and its potential to enrich classroom learning with modern educational resources. In areas where schools often struggle with limited infrastructure, such contributions can significantly enhance digital literacy and broaden educational opportunities for children.
Operation Sadbhavana is a longstanding Assam Rifles civic action programme focused on fostering goodwill and inclusive development in border and tribal regions, particularly in the Northeast. Through measures like educational aid, infrastructure support, and community engagement, the Assam Rifles works to uplift local communities while strengthening civil–military relations.
By equipping Hope Baptist Academy with computers, the force has helped provide students access to essential digital tools, enabling them to keep pace with contemporary learning standards and better prepare for future academic and career challenges
