
Imphal, Mar 20: The Assam Rifles organised vibrant celebrations of Sajibu Nongmapanba, popularly known as Cheiraoba, the traditional New Year festival of Manipur, at Irengbam and Company Operating Bases at Longa Koireng on March 19, 2026.
The festivities witnessed enthusiastic participation from local villagers and Assam Rifles personnel, reflecting a strong sense of cultural unity and community bonding.
