Mantipukhri, Mar 11: The Assam Rifles, under #SpearCorps, marked the successful completion of a three-month Skill Development Programme in Mantipukhri, where 43 out of 58 trainees secured employment placements in the hospitality sector. The initiative aimed to equip youth with industry-relevant skills in housekeeping, food and beverage service, front office operations, and essential soft skills, enhancing their employability and career prospects.

The programme included rigorous training sessions conducted by experienced instructors, combining theoretical knowledge with practical, hands-on experience. Trainees were also guided on professional etiquette, customer service standards, and workplace communication to prepare them for real-world challenges in the hospitality industry.
During the concluding ceremony, Assam Rifles officials congratulated the trainees for their dedication and performance, emphasizing the importance of skill development in building a sustainable livelihood and contributing to community growth.
