Phek, Nagaland, Sep 26: : As part of the ongoing “Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan”, Assam Rifles under Spear Corps conducted an anemia screening and interactive health awareness session in Phek, engaging 65 beneficiaries. The initiative aimed to educate women about preventive healthcare, early detection of anemia, and measures to maintain overall well-being.

During the session, participants underwent anemia screening, blood pressure checks, and were guided on immunization and tuberculosis (TB) prevention. Health experts provided practical tips on nutrition, hygiene, and family health management, emphasizing the role of women in fostering healthier households.
The interactive program encouraged beneficiaries to adopt preventive health practices, seek timely medical care, and actively participate in community wellness activities. Assam Rifles officials highlighted the significance of women’s health in promoting stronger families and resilient communities.
