Kohima, Mar 3: AssamRifles organised a medical camp at Kezoma Village in Kohima, Nagaland, on 02 March 2026, as part of its ongoing civic action and community outreach initiatives. The camp aimed to provide basic healthcare services and strengthen ties between the security forces and local communities.

Residents of Kezoma and nearby villages participated actively, with a total of 254 villagers examined by medical teams. The camp addressed routine health issues and identified one case requiring immediate attention for hypertension-related emergency, ensuring timely medical intervention.
The initiative highlights the Assam Rifles’ commitment to community welfare, extending beyond security duties to support public health and well-being. Such programs foster trust, enhance civil-military cooperation, and promote awareness about preventive healthcare in remote areas.
