Dimapur, Mar 12: The Assam Rifles, under the Spear Corps, organised a National Integration Tour for 24 youths from Manipur as part of Operation Sadbhavana. The initiative aimed to foster national unity, broaden cultural understanding, and inspire young participants through exposure to different regions of India.

During the tour, the group visited several iconic locations across Kerala and Mumbai. In Kerala, the youths explored the Raj Bhavan and the renowned Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, gaining insights into state governance and India’s achievements in space research. They also visited Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India, witnessing the confluence of the Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal, and the Indian Ocean.
In Mumbai, the participants toured the Gateway of India and strolled along Marine Drive, experiencing the vibrancy and diversity of India’s financial and cultural hub. The program combined educational visits, cultural exposure, and interactive sessions aimed at fostering leadership, patriotism, and a sense of national integration among the youth.
Officials said the National Integration Tour under Operation Sadbhavana reflects the Assam Rifles’ commitment to community outreach and youth empowerment, strengthening bonds between armed forces and local communities in northeast India.
