Kohima, Nov 11: AssamRifles successfully organized an Outreach Drive at 3 Miles (ARTC & S), Dimapur, Nagaland, on 10 November 2025, attended by around 200 participants, including Next of Kin (NOKs). During the event, 45 grievances were received, of which 20 were resolved on the spot, while 25 are being processed for early redressal.

Medical examinations and medicines were provided to 80 beneficiaries, and 75 new Ex-Servicemen (ESM) were registered on the Sampark Setu app. Participants were also briefed on various grants, welfare schemes, and recent policy updates by the OIC Veterans. Officials from ECHS and SBI conducted informative sessions on healthcare facilities and financial management.
The drive included a felicitation ceremony honoring three Veer Naris, two gallantry awardees, and two heroes of the 1962 War, recognizing their invaluable contributions to the nation. Refreshments and lunch were provided, and the ESMs and NOKs expressed gratitude to DGAR and Assam Rifles for their continued support and commitment to veterans and their families.
