Manipur, Oct 23: A total of 119 youth from Chandel, Pallel, and Tengnoupal districts of Manipur participated in a two-day Pre-Recruitment Training Programme organised by the Assam Rifles under Spear Corps on October 21–22, 2025. The programme was held at Modi, Chandel, and aimed at preparing aspirants for recruitment into the armed forces.

The training focused on enhancing physical fitness, guiding participants on proper documentation, preparing them for written tests, and fostering personality development. Instructors provided hands-on guidance and practical tips to help candidates meet the rigorous standards required for selection.
Officials from the Assam Rifles emphasised that the initiative reflects the force’s commitment to empowering local youth, building their confidence, and providing them with skills to succeed in competitive recruitment processes. The programme also encouraged discipline, teamwork, and perseverance among the participants.
Local youth expressed gratitude for the opportunity, highlighting that such training not only improves their chances of recruitment but also instills essential life skills and self-confidence.
