Kohima, Oct 1: Director General Assam Rifles Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, visited the Centres of Excellence and Wellness at Ghaspani and Chieswema in Nagaland on October 1 and interacted with students pursuing their academic goals.

During the visit, Lt Gen Lakhera encouraged the students to remain focused, disciplined and determined in pursuing their aspirations. He emphasised the importance of consistent effort, self-confidence and a positive approach towards academic challenges.
The DG also delivered a lecture on the “Art of Writing Examinations”, offering students practical guidance on examination preparation, time management and effective presentation of answers.
The interaction provided students an opportunity to engage directly with the senior Assam Rifles leadership and seek guidance on their academic journey.
The visit highlighted the force’s continued emphasis on youth development and educational support through its Centres of Excellence and Wellness, aimed at helping students build confidence, skills and a strong foundation for their future.
