
Kohima, Dec 22: Assam Rifles personnel showcased their humanitarian spirit by donating four units of blood in Nagaland’s Meluri and Phek districts, providing critical support to patients in urgent need.
Two units of O blood were given to a 17-year-old woman from Akhegwo village in Meluri, who was suffering from post-partum haemorrhage. The other two units were donated to a 65-year-old woman from Phek village undergoing treatment for blood cancer.
