Mantripukhri, Dec 19: Assam Rifles organised a felicitation ceremony at Mantripukhri Garrison on December 19, 2025, to honour Manipur’s youth for their exemplary achievements in the Indian Armed Forces. The event recognised fourteen outstanding individuals, including newly commissioned officers and selected cadets, highlighting their dedication, discipline, and commitment to national service.

During the ceremony, IGAR (South) personally interacted with the achievers and their families, appreciating not only the hard work and perseverance of the youth but also the vital support provided by their parents and guardians in shaping these success stories. He emphasised the importance of values such as integrity, resilience, and leadership in forging a successful career in the defence forces.
