Dimapur, Jan 23: In a thoughtful initiative aimed at promoting mental well-being and family harmony, the Assam Rifles recently organized a counselling session under its Rubaru initiative in Dimapur district. The session, themed “Me to We – Co-Creating Performance”, provided a supportive platform for families to discuss personal concerns and gain guidance on maintaining emotional balance and healthy relationships.

A total of 82 families participated in the interactive session, which was conducted with the help of a professional psychological counselor. The counselor offered practical strategies for prioritizing mental health, fostering effective communication within families, and resolving conflicts constructively. Participants were encouraged to share their experiences and challenges, making the session highly engaging and impactful.
The Rubaru initiative, under which the counselling was organized, focuses on community outreach and welfare activities, aiming to strengthen the bonds between Assam Rifles personnel and the local population. By addressing mental and emotional well-being, the initiative not only contributes to individual resilience but also enhances overall community cohesion.
