Jalukie , July 18: Reinforcing its commitment to the welfare of military families, the Assam Rifles organised a special 'Rubaru' interactive session for the families of serving personnel at Jalukie in Nagaland's Peren district, focusing on emotional well-being, compassionate communication and family resilience.

Held on July 17, the programme was themed "Creative Minds, Compassionate Hearts (Shabdon ka Sparsh – Jo Chot Bhi Dein Aur Marham Bhi Bane)" and aimed to strengthen emotional bonds within military families by highlighting the healing power of thoughtful communication.
The session was conducted by Dr. Vandini Setia, who emphasised the importance of emotional expression, empathy and supportive dialogue in helping families cope with the unique challenges of military life, including prolonged separations, frequent postings and the emotional demands associated with service.
Through interactive discussions and engaging activities, participants explored how positive and mindful communication can serve as both a source of strength and a means of healing during difficult times. The programme also acknowledged the silent resilience and unwavering support extended by military families, whose contributions often remain behind the scenes.
Officials said the initiative was designed to promote emotional wellness, foster stronger family relationships and create a supportive environment for the families of serving troops.
The Assam Rifles reaffirmed its commitment to the holistic welfare of its personnel and their families, stating that such initiatives play an important role in strengthening morale and building resilient military communities.
