Deban, Arunachal Pradesh, Nov 23: Assam Rifles organised a dedicated Gynaecology and Medical Health Care Camp on 22 November 2025 at Punyabhumi Village, Deban, aimed at providing essential healthcare services to residents of this remote and picturesque region. The initiative forms part of the force’s ongoing efforts to support local communities in the challenging terrains of Arunachal Pradesh and the broader North East.

During the camp, medical teams conducted thorough health check-ups, consultations, and treatments, with special emphasis on women’s health and gynaecological care. Free medicines were distributed, and awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive healthcare were held to educate villagers about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
The event saw active participation from local residents, who expressed gratitude for the Assam Rifles’ outreach and support.
