Dima Hasao , June 28: Assam Rifles under Spear Corps organised a medical camp at Mahur village in Dima Hasao district of Assam, extending essential healthcare services to the local population as part of its ongoing community welfare initiatives.

The camp benefited around 200 villagers, who received free medical consultations, essential medicines, and basic health check-ups. A team of medical personnel and Assam Rifles staff worked together to ensure smooth delivery of healthcare services, particularly focusing on people from remote and underserved areas.
In addition to medical care, the initiative also included hygiene awareness sessions aimed at educating villagers on preventive healthcare practices, sanitation, and the importance of maintaining personal and community hygiene. The event further strengthened the bond of trust between Assam Rifles and the people of the region, highlighting its role in both security and community development.
