Tsiepama, Nagaland, Sep 21: Assam Rifles conducted a medical camp at Tsiepama in Nagaland on September 20, providing free healthcare services and medical assistance to residents of the local community.

A total of 122 people benefited from the camp, including 18 children, 53 women and 51 men. The participants underwent medical check-ups and received free consultations and medicines based on their healthcare needs.
The initiative was aimed at improving access to basic healthcare services for the local population and encouraging residents to seek timely medical attention for health concerns.
Medical personnel also interacted with community members and provided guidance on preventive healthcare and healthy living. Awareness sessions focused on hygiene, sanitation and nutrition, highlighting the importance of maintaining clean surroundings, adopting healthy dietary practices and taking preventive measures against common illnesses.
The programme also emphasised the importance of early consultation and timely treatment. Residents were encouraged to remain attentive to symptoms and seek medical advice rather than delaying necessary healthcare.
