Washello , Sep 8: The Assam Rifles organised a medical camp at Washello village in Nagaland, extending essential healthcare services to residents and reinforcing its community outreach efforts in the remote area.

A total of 62 villagers, including 31 women, 12 men and 19 children, benefited from the camp. The initiative provided residents with access to basic medical care and professional consultation close to their homes.
During the camp, villagers underwent general health examinations, while medical consultations were conducted and treatment provided for identified health concerns. The outreach was aimed at addressing immediate healthcare needs as well as encouraging residents to pay greater attention to preventive health practices.
A key component of the camp was the conduct of blood investigations for elderly villagers. The screenings were intended to support early identification of possible lifestyle-related health concerns and encourage timely medical attention where required.
