
Ukhrul, April 1 : The AssamRifles convened a district-level security meeting at Somsai Garrison, Ukhrul, focusing on reviewing and strengthening the overall security posture in the district and adjoining areas. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Assam Rifles and attended by key civil authorities, including the District Commissioner, Superintendent of Police, and representatives from intelligence agencies.
During the deliberations, participants assessed the prevailing law-and-order situation, identified border vulnerabilities, and discussed strategies for enhanced surveillance along critical sectors.
