Kishtwar, Nov 18: Assam Rifles organized a solemn wreath-laying ceremony in Jammu & Kashmir to pay tribute to Riflemen Yun Paron and Puran Dhoj Limbu, who made the ultimate sacrifice on November 17, 1962, in Maja, Upper Subansiri, NEFA.
The ceremony commemorated their bravery while serving with 7 Assam Rifles, deployed at Jairampur, Arunachal Pradesh. Senior officers, personnel, and local dignitaries attended the event, paying homage to the fallen soldiers and honoring their courage, dedication, and service to the nation.
