Kohima, Mar 25: On 24 March 2026, as part of the AssamRifles Raising Day celebrations, Assam Rifles organized an awareness and career counselling programme at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Awasiya Vidyalaya in Rengpang, Tamenglong, Manipur. The initiative aimed to guide students on potential career paths and inspire them to pursue their aspirations with dedication.

The interactive session saw participation from 60 students and 2 teachers, who engaged with Assam Rifles personnel to learn about career opportunities in the Armed Forces as well as other professional fields. Officers highlighted the importance of discipline, perseverance, and societal contribution in shaping a successful future.
Students were encouraged to set goals, stay focused, and leverage available educational and vocational avenues to achieve personal and community development. The programme also included discussions on leadership skills, teamwork, and the values upheld by the Assam Rifles.
By combining awareness with motivation, the session reinforced Assam Rifles’ commitment to youth empowerment and community engagement in the North East, emphasizing the role of education and guidance in building a resilient and capable future generation.
