Kohima, Sep 27: Assam Rifles organised a cultural and spiritual lecture by Swami Dharmbandhuji, Founder and Chief of Shri Vedic Mission Trust, Pransla, Rajkot, for troops at Kohima Garrison on September 26.

The session focused on the importance of discipline, leadership, moral strength, cultural values and a “Nation First” mindset, with the speaker highlighting the role of personal character and ethical conduct in effective military service.
Swami Dharmbandhuji spoke about the significance of wearing the uniform and the responsibilities associated with it. He emphasised that service in the Armed Forces carries a responsibility not only towards the nation but also towards society, particularly when personnel are called upon to assist civil authorities during various situations.
The lecture also underlined the importance of maintaining high standards of professionalism, dedication and commitment in the discharge of duties.
Emphasising the need for holistic development, Swami Dharmbandhuji said effectiveness in service extends beyond physical fitness. He encouraged the troops to remain physically fit, mentally alert, emotionally balanced and spiritually active.
