Kiphire, Sep 6: The Assam Rifles organised a motivational lecture on “How to Join Armed Forces” at Kiphire, Nagaland, on September 5, aimed at guiding students about career opportunities and entry into the Armed Forces.

Around 140 students from Classes X to XII, accompanied by three teachers, participated in the interactive session. The programme provided students with practical information on eligibility criteria, selection procedures, examination patterns, physical preparation and career opportunities in the Armed Forces.
The session also focused on the importance of discipline, determination, physical fitness and sustained preparation for aspirants seeking to build a career in the military. Students were encouraged to set clear goals, work consistently towards them and remain committed to their aspirations.
The interaction offered young participants an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the various pathways available to join the Armed Forces and the responsibilities associated with serving the nation.
The initiative reflects the Assam Rifles’ continued efforts to engage and empower youth in the Northeast, particularly by providing career guidance and creating awareness about opportunities in the Armed Forces.
The programme concluded with an emphasis on encouraging students to pursue their ambitions with dedication, confidence and discipline, while contributing positively to nation-building and community development.
