Dimapur, Mar 7: Under Operation Sadbhavana, the Assam Rifles, operating under Spear Corps, flagged off a National Integration Tour (NIT) for 20 students and 3 teachers from Bhandari, Wokha district, Nagaland. The initiative aims to provide the participants with exposure to India’s diverse cultural, educational, and historical heritage.

The tour, organized as part of the Assam Rifles’ ongoing community engagement and nation-building efforts, will allow students to visit key cultural landmarks, historical monuments, and educational institutions in various parts of the country. It is designed to broaden their understanding of India’s unity in diversity and strengthen a sense of national pride.
During the flag-off ceremony in Dimapur, senior Assam Rifles officials emphasized that such initiatives under Operation Sadbhavana play a crucial role in fostering national integration, promoting goodwill, and creating opportunities for students from remote regions to experience India’s rich legacy firsthand.
