The tour, organized as part of the Assam Rifles’ ongoing community engagement and nation-building efforts, will allow students to visit key cultural landmarks, historical monuments, and educational institutions in various parts of the country. It is designed to broaden their understanding of India’s unity in diversity and strengthen a sense of national pride.
During the flag-off ceremony in Dimapur, senior Assam Rifles officials emphasized that such initiatives under Operation Sadbhavana play a crucial role in fostering national integration, promoting goodwill, and creating opportunities for students from remote regions to experience India’s rich legacy firsthand.
The participants expressed enthusiasm for the journey, highlighting that the tour will provide them with invaluable learning experiences beyond the classroom, help build leadership qualities, and instill a spirit of social responsibility.
Operation Sadbhavana, the Assam Rifles’ flagship outreach program, has been instrumental in bridging gaps between armed forces and local communities, particularly in remote and border areas.
