New Delhi, Sep 17: Assam Rifles, the “Sentinels of the North East”, has launched its official WhatsApp Channel to strengthen information outreach and enhance communication with the people across the region.

The initiative is aimed at ensuring timely dissemination of information and keeping citizens connected with the force’s activities, initiatives and public outreach programmes.
Announcing the launch, Assam Rifles said the force has remained committed not only to maintaining security in the North East but also to maintaining a strong connection with the people it serves.
