New Delhi, Nov 2: Assam Rifles observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on 31 October 2025 to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India’s Iron Man. The occasion was marked with solemn Oath-Taking Ceremonies across Tripura, Assam, and Manipur, including locations such as Agartala, Radhanagar, Haflong, and Jiribam.

During the ceremonies, Assam Rifles personnel reaffirmed their commitment to national unity, integrity, and security. Troops pledged to uphold the ideals of national integration and dedicate themselves to the service of the nation. The event emphasized collective responsibility in preserving India’s unity and sovereignty, reflecting the enduring legacy of Sardar Patel and the spirit of “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.”
