Assam Rifles motivates NCC Cadets

Dima Hasao , July 4: Assam Rifles delivered a motivational lecture to NCC cadets of the 33 Assam Battalion NCC during the opening ceremony of the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC)-38 at St. Xavier's School, Maibang, in Assam's Dima Hasao district.

The programme aimed to inspire young cadets by instilling the core values of discipline, leadership, integrity, patriotism and selfless service while encouraging them to contribute meaningfully to nation-building.
Addressing the gathering, the Commandant of 26 Assam Rifles emphasised the importance of character, commitment and perseverance in shaping responsible citizens and future leaders. He urged the cadets to uphold the highest standards of discipline and integrity in every sphere of life.
Highlighting the pivotal role of the Armed Forces in safeguarding the nation's sovereignty and territorial integrity, the Commandant spoke about the dedication and sacrifices made by soldiers in protecting the country under challenging conditions. He encouraged the cadets to draw inspiration from the Armed Forces and strive for excellence in their academic, personal and professional pursuits.
The Commandant also motivated the cadets to consider a career in the defence services, describing it as a noble profession that offers an opportunity to serve the nation with honour, courage and dedication.
The interactive session witnessed enthusiastic participation from the NCC cadets, who engaged with the speaker on various aspects of military life, leadership and career opportunities in the Armed Forces.
The lecture concluded with a renewed sense of motivation among the cadets, reinforcing the ideals of national service, teamwork and responsible citizenship. Assam Rifles reiterated its commitment to mentoring the youth through such outreach programmes and nurturing the next generation of disciplined and patriotic leaders.
