
Imphal, Dec 10: Assam Rifles, under Spear Corps, organised a Multi-Speciality Mega Medical Camp on 09 December 2025 at Awangkasom, Ukhrul district of Manipur as part of its ongoing Operation Sadbhavana. The camp aimed to provide essential healthcare services to the local population and strengthen community welfare initiatives in the region.
Around 450 villagers benefited from comprehensive consultations, medical screenings, and free distribution of medicines. The camp offered services across multiple specialties, including general medicine, paediatrics, gynaecology, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, and dental care, ensuring holistic healthcare coverage for the participants.
The successful execution of the camp was made possible through coordinated efforts between Assam Rifles medical teams, local organisations, and youth groups, who assisted in mobilising villagers, organising logistics, and facilitating smooth delivery of services.
