
Manipur, Oct 28: In a moving tribute to the heroes of the 1962 Indo-China War, the Assam Rifles organised a solemn wreath-laying ceremony at its Battalion Headquarters in Moreh, Tengnoupal District, Manipur, to honour Rifleman (Late) Ratan Lal Salaria, who made the supreme sacrifice defending the nation at Sulula, NEFA (now Arunachal Pradesh).
The ceremony, held on October 26, 2025, was attended by officers, Junior Commissioned Officers, and soldiers of the Assam Rifles, who paid their heartfelt respects to the fallen hero. Wreaths were laid on behalf of the force to acknowledge Rifleman Salaria’s exceptional courage, dedication, and devotion to duty.
