Ndunglwa, , Mar 29: Assam Rifles conducted a dental hygiene awareness class for 106 students at Government Middle School Ndunglwa, aiming to instill good oral health practices among young learners.

The session focused on educating children about the importance of brushing twice daily, proper brushing techniques, and maintaining overall dental hygiene to prevent common dental problems. Interactive demonstrations were held to ensure that students understood the correct methods for effective oral care.
To encourage regular practice, Assam Rifles personnel distributed toothbrushes and toothpaste to all participants. Teachers and school authorities praised the initiative, noting that such programs not only promote health awareness but also empower students to adopt lifelong healthy habits.
The initiative forms part of broader community outreach efforts by Assam Rifles under Operation Sadbhavana, focusing on education, health, and skill development in remote areas of Nagaland.
