Kiruphema,, Aug 30: Assam Rifles organised a friendly volleyball match at Kiruphema Bawe Village, Nagaland, bringing together local youth and security personnel in an effort to promote sportsmanship, teamwork and physical fitness.

The match, held on August 30, 2026, witnessed enthusiastic participation from the village team, with local youngsters turning up to both play and support the event. Around 40 local youths, including players and spectators, attended the programme.
The sporting activity provided participants with an opportunity to engage in healthy competition while encouraging the values of discipline, cooperation and team spirit. Players from both sides displayed enthusiasm and competitive spirit, contributing to a lively atmosphere during the match.
