Kohima, Oct 23; The Assam Rifles under Spear Corps flagged off a National Integration Tour for students of Berean Baptist Academy, Noney, as part of its Civic Action Programme. The initiative aims to expose students to India’s rich heritage, promote national unity, and broaden their understanding of the country’s cultural diversity.

During the tour, the students will visit key cities including Delhi, Agra, and Shillong, exploring historical landmarks and interacting with dignitaries. The programme is designed to instill a sense of patriotism, civic responsibility, and awareness among young participants, helping them appreciate the nation’s diversity and democratic values.
Officials from Assam Rifles highlighted that such initiatives strengthen the bond between the armed forces and local communities while empowering students with knowledge, exposure, and inspiration to contribute positively to society.
