Imphal, Dec 22: Assam Rifles under the SpearCorps continues to foster peace, welfare, and community development in Manipur through a series of proactive outreach initiatives. The focus remains on youth empowerment, healthcare support, and cultural engagement, strengthening local bonds and promoting regional harmony.

In a recent effort, 192 NCC cadets at Keithelmanbi were empowered through a detailed equipment display and demonstration, providing them insights into modern security apparatus and operational techniques. The initiative aimed to inspire discipline, awareness, and leadership qualities among the youth while fostering a sense of civic responsibility.
Meanwhile, Assam Rifles personnel conducted door-to-door medical care for bedridden veterans in Churachandpur, ensuring timely healthcare support for the elderly and infirm. Such initiatives reflect the commitment of the forces to the welfare of local communities, addressing both medical and social needs.
Adding to community engagement, the forces celebrated Advent Christmas with the villagers of Sehlon, sharing in cultural festivities and strengthening communal harmony. These celebrations helped nurture trust, camaraderie, and a sense of unity among residents and the personnel.
