Kohima, Aug 12 : The Assam Rifles, under the Spear Corps, has intensified its youth outreach initiatives by conducting focused pre-recruitment training programmes in Nagaland and Manipur, aimed at helping aspiring candidates prepare for upcoming Armed Forces recruitment drives.

At Phek in Nagaland, Agniveer aspirants are undergoing structured physical training designed to improve their fitness, endurance, stamina and overall recruitment preparedness. The programme seeks to provide young candidates with disciplined preparation as they work towards fulfilling the physical demands of military recruitment.
In Chandel, Manipur, the Assam Rifles is conducting a two-month training programme for shortlisted candidates preparing to participate in Agniveer and Territorial Army recruitment rallies. The programme combines physical conditioning with structured guidance to help candidates approach the recruitment process with greater confidence and preparedness.
The initiatives are aimed at providing youth, particularly those from remote and rural areas, with opportunities to develop the skills and physical capabilities required to compete in recruitment examinations and rallies.
